This example demonstrates the use of the TD-SCDMA Analysis Library
DLL interface in Microsoft Visual C++ V6.0 to perform the power and EVM
measurements:

  • Boot and configure digitizer
  • Create TD-SCDMA analysis library instance
  • Configure TD-SCDMAanalysis library
    • time slot to analyse
    • uplink switch point
    • slot time reference mode
    • sync mode
    • slot frequency reference mode
  • Capture and analyse a TD-SCDMA burst
    • Total Power
    • EVM RMS (Data)

    A siggen or a DUT will need to be generating RF bursts as follows:-

    • Frequency: 2GHz
    • time slot 3 is available
    • uplink switch point is 4
    • DwPts pilot is present

     

    It assumes that the following has been installed successfully:

    Hardware:
    =========
    Aeroflex 3011 RF Synthesizer PXI module
    Aeroflex 303x RF Digitizer PXI module

    Software:
    =========
    Aeroflex PXI Module Software - V6.6.0 or better
    Aeroflex TD-SCDMA Measurement Suite - v1.0.0 or better

    It is also assumed that:

    The 3010 LO output is connected to the 3030 LO input
    The 303x IF output is connected to the 303x IF input (if applicable)
