This example demonstrates the use of multiple FST Measurement Library
DLL instances in Microsoft Visual C++ V6.0 to control PXI hardware
asynchronously. In this example, we configure the first FST instance
to capture a sweep with burst triggering; the second FST instance is
configured independently to generate a sweeping signal to capture.

  • Create two FST instances
  • Assign digitizer by resource, configure measurement
  • Assign siggen by resource strings and configure measurement
  • Enable required analysis
    • power
  • Make measurements
  • Retrieve measurement results

It assumes that the following has been installed successfully:

Hardware:
=========
Aeroflex 3011 RF Synthesizer PXI module
Aeroflex 303x RF Digitizer PXI module

Aeroflex 3010 RF Synthesizer PXI module
Aeroflex 302x RF Signal Generator PXI module

Software:
=========
Aeroflex PXI Module Software - V6.6.0 or better
Aeroflex FST Measurement Suite - v1.0.0 or better

It is also assumed that:

The 3010 LO output is connected to the 3030 LO input
The 303x IF output is connected to the 303x IF input (if applicable)

The 3010 LO output is connected to the 3020 LO input

The 302x RF output is connected to the 303x RF input.
