UMTS_Ana_Lib_.NET_Ex02 - BER.zip

This example demonstrates the use of the .NET GSM BER Analysis Library
assembly interface in Microsoft Visual Studio 2005 to perform the receiver
BER measurements:

  • Boot and configure digitizer
  • Create UMTS BER analysis library instance
  • Configure UMTS BER analysis library
  • Capture and analyse UMTS BER

Downlink requirement:
- ARB file :afUmtsUplinkBer_AllOnes.aiq
- RF frequency : 2138.6MHz
- power level : -60dBm
- DL chan code : 9
- DL scrambling code: 0

A DUT must be synchronised to the downlink, and generate RF bursts as follows:-
- Channel : DL 10693 UL 9743 (DL: 2138.6MHz, UL: 1948.6MHz)
- Band : I (2100Band)
- TFCS : 0,2,1,3
- RMC type : 12.2kbps
- UL scambling code : 0
- Max output power : 20

It assumes that the following has been installed successfully:

Hardware:
=========
Aeroflex 3011 RF Synthesizer PXI module
Aeroflex 303x RF Digitizer PXI module

Software:
=========
Aeroflex PXI Module Software - V6.11.0 or better
Aeroflex UMTS Measurement Suite - v3.2.0 or better

It is also assumed that:

The 3010 LO output is connected to the 3030 LO input
The 303x IF output is connected to the 303x IF input (if applicable)
